  The playground was in excellent shape and appeared to be thoroughly planned out... Having said that, the skatepark was absolute garbage. The layout of the obstacles is very questionable. Everything was made out of metal (with no roof covering the skatepark), which made this place extremely dangerous (i.e. think of skateboarding on a hot skillet).   Classic example of a town raising money from its own citizens only to be mislead into building a bad skatepark. The features are designed and constructed poorly, as is the overall design. Classic prefab metal park. Texas has a very rich skateboarding community and history, and has some of the most talented concrete contractors in the world.   This place is a danger zone. Rusty metal skate parks are no good. Burnet needs a real concrete skate park not this death trap. Amazing it's still there. It's not even fun for my rc cars. They should trash it.
