  Small park but my son had fun. Wasn’t overly crowded but can get that way on cool evenings. Lots to do for beginners at this spot.

  It isn’t just poorly designed and cheap, it’s also dangerous for beginners. Go to Garner Skatepark in Springfield or Two Rivers. Two rivers is old and worn down but 5x better design and Garner is new and superior by a mile. Veterans skatepark is a stain on an otherwise excellent town and park. No bowls. No pools. No concrete drop ins or molded concrete whatsoever.
