  I go there for the skate park. Love the drive down from Rockford along the river. The park is well kept and has porta potties. Very uniquely designed skatepark, a must skate. Small but fun and there's usually noone there.

  Great spot for beginners ramps are nicely sized for new to medium ability skaters. Lots of seating overall a great place to bring the kids.

  I have never been here when it was crowded and it was built by Spohn Ranch which is basically the standard of excellence in design and construction from what I've rode. It is a very well maintained street-style park. Not the most technical skateboard park around but probably my favorite in Illinois for what it is.
