  The skatepark itself is good to practice transition in especially when it closes late at 10 PM. You can learn to drop in on the smaller quarter pipes (2 to 4 ft) and move up to the larger mini ramps that are about 5 ft. Bring your own water.   Speaking only on the skatepark side as that's the only side I used - empty at 11am on a Friday during school (no surprise). Small but simple - for me, exactly what my out of shape self needed. Could not find anyone at the nearby buildings to sign the waiver that the park sign states one needs to skate. Bathrooms are on the other side of the baseball field. Did…
