There is an ancient prefab skatepark and a new cookie cutter park right next to each other. The metal prefab park is slick and falling apart, so it’s extra sketchy to skate. The cement park is super generic and nothing great.

I used to skate board in my teens. 35 years ago. Newman skate park leaves alot to be desired when compared to Patterson or Turlock. Honestly it is more of city hall's way of spending as little as possible just to shut up our local skaters than a real skate park. It's down right embarrassing personally speaking.
