This is my favorite skateboard park in the Iron Range outside of Grand Rapids. It has most of the features you need to hone your skills. The pavement is smooth enough with a few cracks to dodge. Either ramp spacing or slight pavement sloping can make it hard to get up opposing ramps from the the other side and windy days don't help.
