Privacy Policy | Skatepark Review

Last updated: October 3, 2026 (photo uploads added)

Skatepark Review is a free guide to skateparks. We do not sell anything, we do not have user accounts, and we collect as little as we can.

What we collect

Server logs. Like every website, our host (Hostinger) keeps standard logs: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the time. We use them only to keep the site running and secure.
Photos you send us. If you upload park photos, we keep the photos, the credit name you choose, and your email address if you give one. We remove location and camera data from every photo. Approved photos are shown on the park page with your credit name; your email is never shown.
Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we keep your message, and your email address if you give one, to answer you and to fix the listing. We do not add you to any list.

Your location. “Parks near me” asks your browser for your location and finds the nearest parks on your own device. Your location is never sent to us or stored.
Cookies. We do not set cookies for tracking or advertising.

Google Maps Platform. Park photos load from Google. When they do, Google receives your IP address and browser details, under the Google Privacy Policy.
Open-Meteo. The weather on park pages loads from Open-Meteo, which receives your IP address and the park’s location (not yours).
Directions links open Google Maps.

You can turn off location sharing in your browser at any time. To ask about a message you sent us, or to have it deleted, use the contact form.

If we change this policy, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
