  As a skater for 15 years, a frequent customer, and an employee, this is a very sad example of an outdoor skatepark thats controlled by a rec center, has a $5-$10 entry fee, hazardous terrain(cracks/chips in ramps and ground), poorly monitored and terrible workspace for employees..   This skate park was dope. i loved the elbow and the little half pipe in the corner and the tall quarter gets you going. the only thing i don’t like is sometimes the office doesn’t pick up or the shed doesn’t pick up. What i LOVE about it is that there are vending machines for drinks and snacks. 10 dollar entrance fee tho. overall great park!

  It’s pretty easy to tell that this park is managed horribly by Ridgefield Parks and Rec. Any reputable skatepark that you can find these days DOES NOT CHARGE SKATERS TO SKATE and DOES NOT RELY ON UNRELIABLE STAFF TO KEEP THE PARK OPEN.
