  Came up to see if I could shovel and volunteer my time to help keep the park usable during winter and it's completely locked with a sign saying skate at your own risk. How does that make sense? This is truly a blight on the city.

  This park used to be great, but the redesign completely destroyed it. It honestly feels like it was designed by people who have never touched a skateboard in their lives. West Bloomfield took one of the best local parks and turned it into one of the worst I’ve ever skated. Huge step backward and a total waste of money.

  If you like what see in the pictures, that’s not what you get. They changed the layout and its worse. There was one mini ramp and it doesn’t have the spine as shown. There are two other lines with transitions, 3 randomly placed rail, and a couple ledges. Also park is full 5-10 year old kids on scooters and bikes who have no idea how to actually use any of…
